NIPER-PHARMACON 2022

The broad objective of the international symposium is to understand the recent trends & future opportunities in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceutical and medical devices and work in collaboration with leaders in academia and industry. This will help to address R&D challenges related to specific stages of the innovation value chain in pharmaceutical sciences and secondly, to undertake joint/collaborative activities leading to human resource development, R&D, institutional capacity building, and entrepreneurship development. One of the most important objectives of the symposium is to create a plan for enhancing academia-industry interaction.

About NIPER S.A.S. NAGAR

Indian Pharma Industry has been a global leader in Generic drugs. In order to acquire leadership position in drug discovery and development and to continue to excel in the formulations, Government recognized that human resources/talent pool is very critical. Thus, Government of India set up National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) at S.A.S. Nagar Mohali as a registered society under society registered Act 1860. Subsequently, the Institute was given statutory recognition by an act of Parliament (NIPER Act, 1998) and NIPER S.A.S. Nagar was declared as an Institute of National Importance. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) S.A.S. Nagar, an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences.The Institute was ranked First in India, 7th in Asia and 44th in globally in Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings in Pharmacy and Pharmacology subject category for year 2022.

1. All the participants should submit registration form online on the conference website and pay registration fee online through the Registration link

2. Abstract should not exceed more than 300 words (including title, authors and their affiliation). Please download the Sample Abstract Submission Document Format 3. Abstract should be complete in terms of Title, Authors (presenting authors must be underlined), Authors affiliation, Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results and Conclusions. 4. Research based abstract will only be considered for oral and poster awards. 5. Scientific committee reserved the right to accept or reject any submitted abstract.

Award for Oral Presentation Session

Awards for oral presentations will be selected from among abstracts submitted by PhD students,
post-doctoral researchers and young faculty members ( Less Than 40 years) in the following areas :

Best oral presentation prize of Rs. 20,000 will be awarded in each session.

Award for Poster Session

Poster sessions will be organized during the symposium. Themes of posters should be from within the following areas:

Participants are requested to mention the thematic area clearly while uploading their abstracts. Abstracts are invited from Masters, PhD, researcher scholar and young faculty members ( Less Than 40 years) on the work carried out by them.Three prizes of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7,500 and Rs. 5000 will be awarded in each session.

Limited economy accommodation is available on NIPER campus. All the delegates are required to make their own transport and accommodation arrangements. The following are nearby (with in 2-3 km from NIPER-SAS Nagar) hotels in SAS Nagar (Mohali) with contact information.

The accommodation is provided based on the requests first come first serve basis received from the students of various NIPERs or other academic/research institutions. Accommodation has been provided on NIPER campus. As mentioned earlier accommodation type is either Dormitory or sharing a room. Please note cot/bed is available ONLY in few rooms. No further request from delegates for accommodation will be considered.
